In This Release
This is the 4th release of the Symphony Desktop Software, Touch Screen Control, and documentation for macOS, Windows 10, and iOS.

What's New?
This contains "Part 1" of the full "Release 1.2" feature set for Symphony Desktop:
- Apogee Pultec EQP-1A* and Pultec MEQ-5* plugins are now fully supported in the Apogee Channel FX plugin wrapper for Symphony Desktop.
- Full control of both Pultec plugins from the Symphony Desktop’s Touchscreen Control.
- Apogee Channel FX is now available on all 8* Optical Inputs (*8 when using ADAT, 4 when using SMUX, 2 when using S/PDIF).
- Full control of Optical Input parameters, including Apogee Channel FX on each Optical input, from the Symphony Desktop’s Touchscreen Control.
*A valid iLok license is required to run the Symphony ECS Channel Strip, Pultec EQP-1A, and Pultec MEQ-5 in the Monitor FX Rack of the Apogee Channel FX plugin wrapper for Symphony Desktop.

The Control 2 software included in this release has Support for:
- Symphony Desktop (firmware update required- included in this release, see instructions below)
- Duet 3 (firmware update required- included in this release, see instructions below)
- Duet for iPad & Mac (must already be on v3.05 firmware- no firmware updater included in this release)
- Duet 2 (must already be on v0.1.38 firmware- no firmware updater included in this release)
- Quartet (must already be on v13.09 firmware- no firmware updater included in this release)
- One for iPad & Mac, One for Mac (must already be on v1.05 firmware- no firmware updater included in this release)
Release System Requirements
- macOS 10.14.6 or later
- Mac Intel and M1 processors
- Windows 10 20H1 or greater
- PACE iLok Account for Apogee Control 2 software and Apogee plugins
- AAX Native, AU (Mac Only),VST or VST 3 Compatible Host Application
Updating Your System
- Update Symphony Desktop hardware using the SymphonyDesktopUpdate file and the USB thumb drive that was included with Symphony Desktop.
- For more detailed instructions, click this link for a step-by-step setup guide: https://apogeedigital.com/support/symphony-desktop - Double-click Apogee Control 2 Software Installer and follow on-screen instructions. The installation of plugins is optional but recommended.
- Update Duet 3 hardware by pressing down and holding on Duet 3’s Controller Knob while connecting Duet 3 to your computer’s USB and follow onscreen instructions.
